The system allows both bars to be prepared with standard straight threaded ends and connected using a dedicated caging splice assembly set. The assembly consists of a through-type inner coupler, a stop-type inner coupler, and an outer coupler. These components work together through a coordinated internal and external thread engagement system to form a continuous structural connection.
During installation, the components are assembled step-by-step to accommodate installation tolerances and allowable end gaps between bars, ensuring a secure mechanical joint even under restricted working conditions. Protective measures are applied to exposed threads when necessary to maintain connection quality.
